Absolutely fantastic place to stop for a great breakfast if your in the area. Large portion sizes for the cost. Banana Dream Pancakes are exactly that - a dream! Skillets are fantastic. Kids portions are very filling for our 7 & 9 year old. Definitely worth the stop!

Found this great breakfast spot after proclaiming to my husband one morning: I want epic French toast! Food was yummy, dining room was comfortable, and staff was extremely friendly!

The menu is simple, and the restaurant is simple as well...simple with homemade fare and very very good. The prices are extremely reasonable, and you get a lot of grub for your money. This is home cooking at its finest. Try the baked oatmeal with frozen yogurt, as it is like eating cake and ice cream for breakfast with seasonal berries. Also excellent is the French toast.The skillet meals are wonderful, with eggs, home fries, toast, and meat of your choice. Basically, this is in my top three favorite places for breakfast.

Busy breakfast diner, but busy means people like it. Classic breakfast fare, but they also had skillets, my favorite. Try the Loaded Country skillet, you will not walk away hungry. Seating was a little cramped, but we managed and enjoyed the food and service.

Nothing special. Visited for breakfast and it took out waitress a few minutes before she even realized we were at their table. And the table was meant to be outside but they are using it inside. Not impressed by the food. You can certainly get better items for cheaper within a few miles.

This place never disappoints. Quickest service imaginable. Very friendly staff, every server we have had is amazing, we love Cheryl. Food comes out super hot and fast. This has become our go to breakfast spot, every meal we have tried is delicious and they have great lunch as well. Very reasonably priced.

It buys but only took 20 minutes to get seated. Wife ordered a breakfast skillet it was really good & I ordered a traditional breakfast but made my pancakes the mountain fruit. Amazing.

"Hot Skillets" served on a wood board, food was really good! I had The Greek Deluxe without tomatoes which was spinach, onions and feta cheese home fries that were awesome and ordered sourdough toast

We always enjoy eating here especially if we don't have to wait in line. I like their twist on traditional breakfast. Their signature dish is their breakfast skillets. They always seem to have a new special skillet. Service is good and the atmosphere is friendly.

The food is always great and the service is friendly and quick. It's a smaller place but we've never had to wait long to get a seat.

Good Food Small comfortable place

From a little "hole in the wall" started over 30 yrs ago by two schoolteachers who loved to cook, The Pantry is a wee bit bigger now with new owners. But the same friendly coziness is still there, along with a dandy menu of breakfast skillets, lunch sandwiches, homemade soups. Try the gyro for lunch: the best one in town! Good Greek cooks here know their stuff! Open 6 am-2pm every day; 6:30 am Sat & Sun. The Pantry is one of Lancaster's best kept secrets!

Hands down the best breakfast ever! The meat lovers skillet and French toast were amazing and our waitress was awesome. Food came very quick and they were packed. Highly recommended this little place.

Very disappointed. Order to pick up a loaded oatmeal, didn’t give me a side of milk or topped it with the vanilla ice cream. Basically threw a few fruits on the foam container & already pre made oatmeal. Not worth what I paid for I don’t think they equipped for pickup rather more eat-in.

Basic diner food. I was hoping for more with a name like pantry. Should of known to expect less with generic katchup on the table and off brand hot sauce instead of springing the extra .25 for Tabasco,lol.Our expectations were made from scratch elevated breakfast foods, like Speckled Hen etc. Or Gracie's on Main.Second time here and we wont be back. I paid extra to add bacon to my scramble..and found 2 tiny pieces. The sourdough bread which I paid .50 more for was tasteless and icky. The french toast was two small pieces stacked on a plate. No presentation and the coffee was old and hard to swallow. Gotta love a place that brings in their metal patio furniture and push together with indoor tables, lol. Which would be acceptable, kind of, if the food was actually good! Bottom line last resort if you're in the area.

Nothing fancy type of place. Food is awesome, service is good and friendly and fast. I recommend it highly and will definitely return.

This small family owned place is great. It doesn't look like much but it has a lot of great food and friendly servers. Every meal I have gotten here is delicious!

I've read the past reviews for this place and everything I read that was negative no longer exists. The food was amazing and the price was equally amazing. My husband and I both got the southwest skillet and my son got the kids French toast and sausage meal. The only thing I would suggest for improvement is offering kids meals that include beverages, even though a small beverage is insanely cheap. We paid less than $30 for two skillets that come with toast and potatoes, a kids French toast meal and three drinks. Amazing local eatery, nothing like a chain breakfast place but trust me that's a good thing. My son is such a picky eater that he's never cleaned his plate until today! He ate every bite of his food. Our waitress was amazingly sweet and attentive, don't quite remember her name but she was a full figure young lady with darker hair. Will definitely make my way back here if I find myself in Pennsylvania again.

Good food and service

Stopped here recently this past weekday and ordered their Country Mix of eggs over-easy, bacon, home-fries and English muffins in a skillet. Eggs, bacon and English muffins were okay but the home-fries were over-cooked to the point where some were hard. I picked through and ate the softer ones and left the rest. I like potatoes made properly in different ways so to have these served to me was disappointing. The bacon serving was surprisingly generous. The two servers were courteous and attentive. They have outside seating but with the sun beating down on you, I would feel uncomfortable. If there was some shade provided, it would be inviting to sit out there on a nice sunny day.

This cozy place is a Lancaster secret! Open daily 6 am-2 pm. (6:30 am Sat & Sun.) Wonderful, creative breakfasts served in your own personal skillet. Really delicious lunch options with quite a few yummy burger combinations; salads; soups. The Pantry began over 30 yrs ago by two schoolteachers who loved to cook. Retired now, but their legacy continues. Try the gyro for lunch with their homemade skinny fries! Absolutely the best gyro ever!

Skillet! Best breakfast I’ve had on the east coast! Tried this place on Thursday and it was so good I went back on Friday- I’m from LA where brunch is a thing- this breakfast let me tell you in definitely the best!

This was my first trip to The Pantry, where I met some friends for breakfast. I had the Italian Omelette (hold the mushrooms, please). It was tasty! The coffee was okay. The waitress was very friendly and kept our beverages filled. The place seemed to be busy with regulars, which is always a good sign. I'd go back if my friends wanted to meet there again.

This is a cozy, comfort food place. Great service, clean environment, good prices and the best baked oatmeal, served hot,topped with fresh fruit and vanilla frozen yogurt. A must try!

Hands down, this is the best Diner for breakfast and lunch in Lancaster. Great homemade soups. The Pantry cooks my favorite eggs benedict and gyro in the county. Maybe a little pricey comparatively, but the food quality is is that much better.

Great skillet breakfast and baked oatmeal.

I love this place. Food is great. The servers are personable. My only reason for 4 stars is that there is not much room in the parking lot or restaurant so be cautious for parking. The entrance is a little tight while waiting for a table. However still definitely recommend!

I had a very nice brunch/breakfast experience here recently. The wait staff was attentive and friendly and had no problem with customizing a menu item for me. Additionally, the food was very good and fairly priced. Thanks for a good breakfast!
